About Handicaps
The handicap system/formula is proprietary to the USGA. We work directly with the USGA to ensure your handicap is compliant with all aspects of the USGA Handicap System. With a Premium Membership, you can join a licensed USGA Golf Club, which is a requirement to establish your handicap.
Beware of other sites that promise you a "handicap", without complying with the USGA's system of local golf clubs for peer review; they risk litigation from the USGA for infringing on their marks.

What our Members Say...
"I was invited to the member-guest tournament at my friend's country club... didn't realize a USGA licensed handicap index was required for all participants. Thanks for being a last minute life saver."
-D. Barret, Orlando, FL
"I used to maintain my handicap at membership to a club I rarely play. I didn't realize how much they were over-charging me."
-S. Jackson, Palo Alto, CA
"Thank you for finally partnering with Golf Canada... I've been posting scores here for years and I'm glad everything is official in sync now."
-G. Edmonton, Vancouver, BC, Canada
"I was using another site to track my handicap but was turned away from a tournament because it wasn't official. It's nice that all of your clubs link directly to the USGA's website for verification. You should do a better job at educating golfers as to what makes a handicap official or not."
-R. Carriage, Dallas, TX
"I'm the coach of a high school golf team and your site has been a huge help to my kids. Clear visibility to their fairways and greens hit, number of putts, and penalty shots has helped their game tremendously."
-C. Alexander, Bristol, CT
