good swing, second was a tiny bit off balance, but good

@Goynes42, I have a similar action with my right foot, and I do know that I tend to start the downswing with my upper body as I often have an over the top move and slice the ball a lot.

I've tried a slow motion move at home where I try to feel the lower body starting the move by shifting my body weight over the left foot, but at full speed it's back to the slice business as usual. Any tips to help incorporate the lower body into the swing?

Good swing...

The flatness is good, but be careful of early extension of your body...You seem as if you are upper body driven in the swing, instead of lower body...The hips look like they open up alot more than normal, almost as much as the upper body....otherwise, looks good, just try to develop more torque in your swing, keeping it on plane.

Looks pretty good

Again, gotta unwind those hips first! Did you look at the Hogan video I sent you?

Look at your finish. See how your right foot leans out to the right? That's a classic "symptom" of the upper body yanking the lower body around. When your shoulders unwind first, a lot of weight goes out to your toes...which is not what you want, because it forces you to make compensating moves in your swing to hit the ball on the center of the face. The right foot itself is NOT a compensation, more of a reaction to too much weight being put out on your toes. You can see this VERY clearly in the second swing--you even fall forward a little bit!

Here's a down-the-line view of a GREAT swinger, Sam Snead. Look at how his lower body really drives the downswing, and pay attention to how his controlled, balanced motion through the ball only brings the right foot up slightly: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v..

Your right foot position at your finish will be a good check to see

I'm averaging about 240-250 right now. That one went 265.

Seems a little flat, but still nice. How were the results?

Nice solid swing
