EVERGREEN POINT MEMBER 6-6-6 TEAM CHALLENGE DATE/SITE: Sunday, August 22, 2010 DEADLINE: All entries must be in by Thursday, August 19, 2010 at 5:00 PM. SCHEDULE OF EVENTS: Sunday: 8:00 AM Practice Facilities Open 9:00 AM Shotgun Start 1:30 TO 3:00 PM Lunch & Awards Ceremony FORMAT: 2-Man Team in a 6-6-6 Team Format. Holes 1 thru 6 will be a scramble format, holes 7 thru 12 will be an alternate shot format, and holes 13 thru 18 will be a best ball format. HANDICAPS: Each player will receive 75% of their course handicap which will be applied to the best ball portion of the tournament. Teams with a combined course handicap of 28 or higher will receive two strokes on the scramble format. The alternate shot will be played straight up. ELIGIBILITY: Gold, Silver, Bronze, Oak, Handicap, and Point Club Members. Members must have an established USGA Handicap Index or one signed off by a PGA Professional. If you are not a member and would like to play, keep in mind that our Point Club Membership is ONLY $10 per year. The Point Club allows you to earn free green fees. After your first 8 rounds you earn one free green fee. Then after your next 8 rounds you earn 2 free rounds, and then it starts all over again. Contact the Pro Shop @ 281-837-9000 for more details. DRESS CODE: Appropriate dress for players will consist of slacks or shorts, and shirts with collars and sleeves. Collarless T-shirts and tank tops will not be allowed. ENTRY FEE: $90 per Team.
