It has been well over a month since the Golf Channel redid the format for its Morning Drive program. Personally in my opinion the expansion to seven(7) days and a lot more "talk" seems to have diminished which was a very good show. The original five(5) days per week plus special weekend editions for the majors gave the viewers just the right amount of info for the first thing in the morning. Sometimes too much turns into too little along with being tedious and the wish to turn the channel. Anyone else have any opinions beside the wish for more of Holly and Lauren haha.

The old version was a lot more intimate. You had the smaller studio with the pinball machine, arcade games, and the radio desk. Now it's like any other sports show whether it's on Golf Channel, ESPN, or NFL Network. Rymer sucks as an analyst like he always has, Ahmad Rashad, REALLY? Williams is OK despite having the most annoying laugh I've ever heard, Hack is pretty good, the other dude who's name I'm forgetting is very average, but thank God Sonders is still on there.

I don't have cable in my trailer park. Can I spin my antenna and get it?

Try putting foil on the rabbit ears. I seem to remember that working for me.

They need to move the "washed up" 19th Hole to the mornings on the weekend....a quick "hitter", 30 minute show, that is it!

I use to look forward to the 19th Hole when it was shown in "primetime" a few years back....now, I just hit the delete button the morning after it's televised...this show has really hit "rock bottom".

7 days of Morning Drive is "OVERKILL"...Holly, or no Holly!

Absolutely! The 19th hole with Kraig Kann, Hawkins, and Rude was good stuff. That rivaled Skip and Stephen A. in terms of two analysts just wanting to beat each other up every so often. I really enjoyed that. Since it moved to late night though on Thursday and Friday... zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz. And the fact Lara Baldesarra hosts it makes it that less appealing. I can't stand her on Golf Central. She has no idea what she's talking about and has a Canadian accent on steroids.

The only problem I have with Morning Drive is Ahmad Rashad. This guy is more annoying than a toothache. Really, Rory McIlroy tole me so (not really). Seriously, how did Rashad wrangle an invite to this? He must have something on the GC executives. HIs analysis is boring, as is his attempts at humor. His interviews are just softballs lobbed up for the interviewee to hit out of the Rompus Room play area. Otherwise, the new version of MD is fine. My 2 cents.

Listen, If you're taking in two hours of MD every day then its going to become overkill. I try to catch the weekend shows because they will stick to the current tournament and maybe the Monday show. The Front 9 and Back 9 are the best segments beacuse they feature the beautiful Ms. Sonders and because they are quick response questions that don't allow for long winded answers and analysis.

Please don't use the words quick and Ms.Sonders in the same sentence.

"Front 9 and Back 9" I wouldn't have thought of describing Ms. Sonders features that way, but okay.
