Awhile back ago I was at Grand Island Golf Club down the road from me and I got paired up by the marshall with another dude, who turned out to be real cool. Anyhow he played from the Gold Tee's (Longest Ones). I normally play from the Blues or the Whites depending on who I am with. Anyhow our round was enjoyable comeing into the 18th. The score card said it was a 595 yd. Par 5. This was by far the longest hole I have ever played, but the Tee Boxes were set back so Im saying it played more to 600-605. I smoked a driver, and a 3wd. to within 20 yds. of the green then a chip and a putt later I had a birdy on the longest hole I have ever played. IM WONDERING WHAT IS THE LONGEST HOLE YOU HAVE PLAYED AND WHAT WAS THE RESULT!!!!!!!

August 3, 2010 630 yards Par 5 on "The Judge," Prattville, AL RTJ course. I'm sure I at least doubled it, but I can't remember. From the tips it was 711 yards! |

July 29, 2010 620 is that longest i played and same like you smoked a driver, smoked a 3 wood and still have 60 yards left! Didnt get birdie - left the birdie put short, i was wearing my wife''s skirt that day cause i couldnt get my putting speed down all day. Now if you want to talk about the longest par 3, i just got back from playing a muni course from the tip par3 - 255 yards !(245 and pin was in the very back) WTF! (same course with the 620 par 5,- 7400 yards from the tip) |

July 28, 2010 782 yards from the tips!! Par 6, longest hole in Western Canada, they advertise! The Nursey in Central Alberta Canada. I believe I bogied the hole, maybe a double, it's been a few years since. I hit driver and 2 - 3 woods and still wasn't there!!! |

July 28, 2010 678 par 6 at Mountain Manor PA. The nine that it is on is now closed. My best score on it was an eagle 4. Driver up the hill, 3wood over the top, 5wood from the crest of the hill ,1 putt(from around 20-25 ft). Most likely the best 4 shots in a row I ever hit. The hole goes over a hill with trees on both sides and there was a pond in front of the green. I think my worst was a 14. |

July 25, 2010 The longest hole I have ever played is #12 at Lewis River golf course in Woodland, WA. It is a 647 yard par 5 with a hazard that runs along the entire left side and trees all along the right. It's pretty tight. Earlier this spring I smoked a drive and it plugged in the right center of the fairway. Then I still had about 400 yards in. I pured a 3 wood to about 180 out (again after the ball plugging in the mushy fairway). Then I hit a 5 iron to about 20 feet and drained the putt for birdie. My buddy who is neither long nor consistent managed to follow pretty much the same track, but had a longer third shot and made a par. His best score prior to that was a 7. |

July 24, 2010 I think there's a 700-yard hole on the Robert Trent Jones golf trail in Alabama. About 615 is the longest I've played. Easy hole but pretty tough to hit in two. I've only played it once or twice on my own ball, so par is probably the best I've done on it, but I've birdied other 600-yard par-5s. |

July 23, 2010 Actually played a Course down in Myrtle Beach over 4th of July, True Blue Plantation. Since my Hcp got a lot better over the past year, I tried the Black Tee Boxes (way back there) and the course has the No 1 hole at 624, No 10 at 599 and No 15 at 602. Bogey on No 1, Birdie on 10 and Par on 15...But, I can tell ya, No 1 is one loooong hole from the back tees....It's an almost 90 degree dogleg to the left, so it was Driver first, 2i Hybrid as second, due to the shape of the hole and a 9 iron, which that I should have left out of my bag that afternoon, a chip out of the Pines and 2 Putts, voila, bogey...:-))) |

July 23, 2010 Well, I've got two really long ones...#16 at Stonebridge Country Club, which is 614 yards, and #12 at Brookhaven Country Club which is 630 yards. I've birdied both, but even though Stonebridge's hole is shorter, I included it because it's a Pete Dye course. When Pete Dye designs a hole over 600 yards, you'd better be a prayin' man because you're in trouble. I felt a nice sense of accomplishment from making birdie there. ...actually, when Pete Dye designs ANY hole, you're in trouble. |

July 22, 2010 Eagle Glen in Corona, Ca...650 yard par 5..379 yard drive (wind aided..big time!!) then i hit an approach that bounces 2 feet before the green..kept rolling and ended on the back green for a 60 foot putt. I lagged the put to within 3 feet and made birdie. A hole i'll never forget! yeah yeah..the hole was all down wind and down hill..but it doesn't say that on the scorecard |

July 22, 2010 Turquoise Valley Golf Course in Naco, AZ .... 747-yard par 6 ... yep, par 6 ... nicknamed the "Rattlesnake." I played up a tee ... 646 yards. Hit a great tee shot down the middle of the fairway ... only to be stymied by a yucca plant. Hit my next shot OB trying to shape a shot around the stupid thing. After a drop and penalty, my next shot wound up 90 yards short of the green. Chunked my next shot to 20 yards out. Miracle of miracles ... I chipped in from there ... for PAR!!!! |

July 22, 2010 South Suburban Golf Course's 15th hole that measures 612 yards from the back tees(which I do not play) and is uphill for the last 150 yards. My best score on that hole is par. |

July 22, 2010 Nice going. You must of hit 2 great shots. 584 on the card. the 2nd shot is water down the left or you can go over it where the fairway is wide again. by the water the fairway runs all balls to the water and is only 1/2 as wide. Birdie is my best score there and only been ne the green in 2 one time. |
